If a customer opens the front-end customer panel, by default the date range is configured to show bookings in the actual week. This does not necessarily concern the period over which the customer made an appointment.
So, customer must know there is a date range selector and selects date range corresponding to his bookings.
When I tested I did not understand why my appointment did not appear. That's when I noticed the date picker.
But customers are not necessarily used to the amelia administration interface and do not know this selector.
It would be more user friendly if the customer sees all his appointments directly by default, without having to adjust the date range.
I understand your point of view. This is maybe true for customers that don't have a lot of appointments. But if customers have a lot of appointments they couldn't find the appointments they need at that moment easily. As it is now, they can choose dates for which they want to see the appointments and they will be in the list. The date picker is just taken over from the back-end of Amelia - Appointments list (which was there for admin, employee and customer users).
I will add your suggestion to our list so we can consider modifying this somehow in the future.
If you have any further questions or concerns feel free to ask,
Maybe the best way is to add a parameter in the general admin params to give the administrator the choice between a list of all appointments or a date picker in the front-end customer panel.
At least it is necessary that the date picker is more visible to the customer. As with a bold text, a color that stands out more and a sentence that invites the customer to select the period of his appointment. And it is imperative that the date picker matches by default the period of the next appointment of the customer. So the customer see at least one appointment in his list.
As it stands, I cannot provide my customer with an interface that does not show any of their appointments because their next appointment is more than 10 days later, while the period displayed corresponds to the week In progress.
Yes, I see your point there. I added your suggestion to our list so some of the solutions you pointed out can be considered in the future. Maybe, for now, it would be easiest and fastest solution to put some title like 'Choose a date range to see your appointments' or similar.
