    Hi again,

    Is Amelia convenient for an online language services provider?

    What we need:

    - freelance language specialists (categories: interpreters, translators, proofreading,...) be booked by their clients according to search criteria: postal code (very important to clients), language combination, etc.

    - should be in Dutch

    - can I insert Amelia to any wordpress theme?

    - is t compatible with most recent version wordpress?

    - what about security of data of users?

    - iDeal payment gateway?

    - monthly invoicing?

    - reviews?

    Thank you for your inquiry.

    Unfortunately we don't have option to search by postal code. In our plugin customers can select category, service, employee and location and then book available dates and time slots. Maybe you can create locations and assign employees (freelance language specialists) to their locations so customers can find them based on selecting the location?

    We have Dutch translation, approximately 95% of the plugin is translated but if you find some words that are not translated or you want to edit some, you can easily do this using Poedit or LocoTranslate.

    "- can I insert Amelia to any wordpress theme?"

    We have tested Amelia with large number of most popular themes, but if you use some other theme and experience any issue you can always contact our support.

    "- is t compatible with most recent version wordpress?" 

    Yes, it is compatible.

    "- what about security of data of users?"

    All data is stored in your database and we don't have any access to it.

    "- iDeal payment gateway?"

    Unfortunately we don't have integration at the moment but we have integration with WooCommerce which supports iDeal payment gateway so you can use it using the WooCommerce checkout.

    "- monthly invoicing?"

    Unfortunately this is not supported. Invoicing is possible only using the integration with WooCommerce but invoice is sent for each appointment to the customer. I suppose that you need for providers but we don't have that option at the moment since all payment in our plugin go to one account set in the settings.

    "- reviews?"

    Unfortunately this also isn't supported at the moment. Maybe in the future we will implement this option but I must say that we have some more requested features on our list that we have to implement first so it will take some time.

    Question : if I purchase the basic annual 59/year to start, can I then upgrade to lifetime basic and then lifetime pro, and pay every time only the difference?

    Hi I am about to purchase Amelia what do you suggest to buy first. I prefer the life time but I want to be sure first that with some customisation it is the right plugin to buy. Once again can I purchase the yearly and then upgrade?

    So what I mean is: 

    1. I purchase now for one year 59 dollar +vat basic

    2. we try the plugin

    3. We customize things we want

    4. And if everything is ok we upgrade to lifetime basic

    5. Perhaps later on if we need it for another website we upgrade to pro lifetime

    Is it possible?

    Hi Lazhar,

    Thank you for your interest in our plugin.

    You would need to create each freelancer as employee and give them Amelia WordPress Employee user role so they can login to the backend. You can give them permission in our Roles Settings to change assigned services, capacity and price but we don't have option for adding commission unfortunately.

    "2. Is the calendar also in white colour?"

    You can try our customize settings here. Click on the Back-end demo, go to the Customize page and change colors. Then go back to the booking form and see how the colors are changed.

    You can purchase the yearly license so you can try it and then you can upgrade later. We have 15 days money back guarantee so you can try it and if you find out that our plugin doesn't suit your needs you can ask for a refund in the first 15 days and we will refund you the money.

    Hi again

    I purchased it and installed it. Wordpress says installation successful. But now I am experiencing some little problems and honestly I am not happy with it, as I expected the plugin would work smoothly and without bugs.

    1. Trying to customize the agenda. I changed the colour of background, nothing happened in Google Chrome, changed in Edge the first time but then also nothing.????

    2. Time slots: everyday begins at 10:00 while I changed it from 08:00 to 23:00??????


    Is it going to be like this all the time or should I receive some updating which repairs all these bugs? Please reaction ASAP

    Hi Lazhar,

    1. Please delete cache in the Browser and you will be able to see the changes.

    2. Have you set time slots in General Working hours or in Employees working hours? Each employee can have its own unique working hours so if you have set that working hours, and then changed it in the general settings those changes from general settings will not be applied for existing employees, only for the new ones. Each employee can have working hours and periods set, and assigned services for each period so you can create unique working schedule.

    If you still have the second problem I would need to ask you to open a ticket in Amelia section of this support platform where our support agents will help you with this. They will probably need temporary admin login for them to login and see since that is the fastest way for resolving anything so make sure to open private ticket there. This section is only for pre-purchase questions and once you have purchased the plugin you've got our premium support and access to Amelia section in this support platform.

    thank your for your reply. May I suggest some functionalities which should make AMELIA the best appointment scheduling plugin ever:

    - total freedom for design and customization possibilities through for example integration with Elementor (excellent software)

    - complex forms (conditional, etc.)

    - automatic calculation of travel costs from one point to another

    - google agenda and other agenda integrations

    - google maps 

    - cost calculation according to information provided by the user (fee/hour, extra fees, distance calculation and more)

    - a full resume of the request before confirmation of the appointment (not just congratulations you have succeeded or something like that)

    - design the plugin for services provided on-site not only for gym, doctors etc... 

    - possibility to integrate more functionalities through other plugins 

    - make it a total complete solution for booking an appointment with all aspects 

    Amelia is a very good start but it has to be improved to meet, not only my needs, but every business needs. Now is it very good for let say a shop, a barber, this kind of simple business

    We have big plans for Amelia and lots of features will come during time.

    I would be more than grateful if you could provide me more details about some of these functionalities:

    1. complex forms (conditional, etc.)

    2. design the plugin for services provided on-site not only for gym, doctors etc... 

    3. possibility to integrate more functionalities through other plugins - can you please tell me specific integrations that you think that would good to have in Amelia?

    4. make it a total complete solution for booking an appointment with all aspects - on which aspects do you mean?

    Dear Isidora, 

    I will explain to you what I meant by following features:

    1. Add conditional steps: if you want to reach a large scope of customers you should think about giving the user more flexibility by letting him add custom conditional steps, which are booking steps acting as filters for the choice of the agents.

    Actually there is only the possibility to filter agents by service and location. 

    2. add a booking summary at the end of the booking before the confirmation of the booking including a checkbox or radio button asking the customer to read conditions and to check the box if agree with conditions. Summary: full appointment details, customer details, pricing, tax and total 

    3. Companies pay through invoicing not only credit card and PayPal. So think about including a addon for invoicing (free please)

    4. add a free addon for calculation (whatever the calculation is), example to calculate travel costs between a point A and B. Think about all self employed people who provide on-site services (it is a huge market). On-site services means services which are provided by freelancers (consultants, interpreters, ...) at the customer's location

    5. geo localisation of agents: let the customer choose agents based on his position 

    6. design: many things are to be reconsidered... fonts, colours, ...

    Don't hesitate contacting me if there is any of these changes I could reconsider and buy it again. LatePoint, Booknetic wonderful plugin but same problems! 

    The best plugin I tested is Zoho appointment but very expensive!!!

    Hi Lazhar,

    1. We certainly plan to work on more customize options and new booking forms, so some new options will be covered with those features. 

    2. We have a small summary (with appointment details) on the step where customer enters personal data, and you can also setup notification where customer will get more details. As for the checkbox, on the same step you can add a Text Content custom field with a link to the terms and conditions and then add another checkbox custom field for checking the terms and conditions. In the new booking form that we plan to add all details will be displayed in the summary. However, we don't have option to show taxes since we don't support this feature at the moment.

    3. At the moment we have option to send invoices through our integration with WooCommerce but we will think about other solution in the future. Thanks.

    4. Thanks, we will think about this. At the moment we only have option to set custom field where customer will enter his address so employee can come and provide a service. Location shortcode is something that we plan for the future, but not so soon.

    5. This will probably be included in that location shortcode, we will think how to implement it in the best way.

    6. This will be included in our new customize page.
