I want to show my event dates as MM/DD/YYYY not DD/MM/YYYY.
I see no option for this.
I did see how I need to tell the filtering capability what format the date input is in, but that didn't fix the output.
The source for this table is a Google Sheet in which dates are properly formatted as MM/DD/YYYY

Please go into wpDataTables settings, and change the date format there. It will affect all your tables, and you should see the correct dates.
