The wpDataTables manual states that the only way one can edit a table using frontend editing is if the table was created manually or was imported from an existing DB.
Is there anyway to work around this limitation, or additional services or add-ons that will help?
I also purchased Gravity forms and the integration add-on for wpDataTables.
My basic requirement is to use a form to input data into a table (i.e. wpDataTable) then allow various users to edit the table data (frontend edit).
Hello Dwayne
Thank you for your purchase.
Editable tables can also be Gravity Forms based tables, if you enable "Server-side processing". When you do that, you will get the "Editing" tab, and will be able to allow editing on front-end. Users will be presented with the Gravity Form, but they will be able to add new entries and edit existing ones through the table.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
