Thanks for this! I have found it indeed. Another question: we have over 20 tables with about 8 columns for each table. Is there a way to change this setting for all tables at one?
Is there a way to remove ''currently selected'' from the dropdown menu? And is it possible to only see the types that are selected in a previous filter?
For example:
Brand: Volkswagen Model: Caddy
Type: Caddy96, Caddy II
Currently all the types of "volkswagen" are shown by types, but the only possible results I want are "Caddy" because I chose that as the model. Is it possibble to change this?
If you wish to disable "Currently Selected", you can go to column settings, and under data change "Number of possible values to load" from "10" to "All". It will display all possible results, and "Currently Selected" will not be displayed.
As for cascade filtering, this is only available through our paid add-on Powerful Filters.
You have the paid version of the plugin wpDataTables, but you need to acquire the add-on, which is a separate installation from wpDataTables. It adds on the core plugin, and it needs to be purchased separately here.
Hi,
Is there a way to change to filtering option fields to dropdown fields so that people can pick an option from the list?
Dropdowns would be much easier, but I can't find the option.
Looking forward to your reply.
Best,
Amanda
Hello Amanda
Thank you for your purchase.
Sure you can. You need to go into column settings/Filtering and choose the filter type.
More details about this can be found in our documentation.

Hi again Amanda
Unfortunately, no. Each column can have a different filter type, so you will need to select it for every column individually.

Hi Aleksandar,
Thanks for your reply. We will work on this.
Regarding the add-on: we have the paid verison of the plugin. Where can I find this add-on?
Best,
Amanda
