The first time a client books an appointment, the platform collects all the details including the custom field "address". The second time, the platform does not save the returning user's address or allow them to input an address. The field is blocked out along with all the other fields. How can I remedy this? I need the information on the custom field to be either
1. Saved and included in every email notification.
OR
2. Open for mandatory input on subsequent bookings.
The fields are filled in/blocked out in the booking process when you are trying to book while logged in to your WordPress. Is this the case when you tested the booking process? You can try the booking process while not logged in to WordPress or in an incognito page.
Please let me know if I somehow misunderstood your issue!
Thank you for your prompt response. I tested it with a client that was booking for a second time so I wasn't the one logged in to word press. It happens when the user is using the platform for the second time on their device. You can test it here at manebarbers.com and see what I am talking about.
Incognito helps but I can't expect everyone using the platform for the second time to use incognito browsing.
I wonder if its a cache memory issue. I appreciate that they don't have to fill the form all over again but the custom section I created is blocked out as well without any details inside it. I made the section mandatory because I need my users to give their addresses. I thought it would save it as well but it does not.
I tried the booking process but after I booked, the second time I tried the same, I didn't have anything filled in, and I even booked again and didn't refresh the page clicked on Finish and try the booking again and again fields were not filled in.
Please look at the attachments. Also, please delete the appointments so they won't occupy your time slots. They are with names - Amelia test/similar.
Is it the case that this customer is logged in to the WordPress? This is the only way this could happen. In any other way this is not possible, these fields are only filled in from WordPress information (when users are logged in).
