Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

    Hi guys,
we offer services like a Hot Stone Massage with different durations (60min, 90min,120min).
In my solution now I set for example the Hot Stone Massage as the category and created 3 different Services (the 60-,90-,120min Hot Stone Massage) but that blows up the drop down menu in the booking wizzard (especially because I have many different massage types and all of them have 3 different Durations).
    a) So is it possible to apply 3 Durations to 1 Service (the Hot Stone Massage) instead of 3 Services to one category?
OR b) Possible Solution: I integrated a select box with 3 entries - for every Duration one entry - but how can i connect the select box entries with different prices (like 30$ for a 60min massage, 60$ for a 90min massage and so on)?

Thank you very much in advance

    Georg

    Hello Georg,

    Thank you for your purchase.

You can try using the catalog view for your set up that you have now. Using this shorcode, [ameliacatalog], customers will have a list of categories first and then after they choose a category they can choose a service from that category. You can read more about this view following this link

You can apply different duration to one service by creating extras for that service. So you have a service with duration 60 minutes and price and then extra 1 duration 30 min and price and extra 2 duration 60 min and price. So when customers book this service they can choose whether they want extra and choose which one they want and at the end the calculation is service+extra (if extra is chosen) for both duration and price. You can check out the services and extras in our documentation following this link

    Hope this helps!

    Hi Marija,

thank you for the quick response!

I implemented your suggestion with the extras. Is it possible to hide or avoid the "quantity"-item of the extras during the booking process?

    Thank you in advance!

    Hello Georg,

Apologies for replying a bit later, we are not working on weekends.

Please try adding this custom HTML to your page where you have your Amelia shortcode:

    <style>#amelia-step-booking0 > div.am-select-service > form > span > div > div > div.el-col.el-col-7{display: none;}</style>

and let me know if it helped!

If you have any further questions or concerns don't hesitate to ask,

    Hi Marija,

no problem at all. I am very late to thank you for that response, it worked very well! Thank you!

My client would like to get a few things changed:

    1. Hiding the ending time of time slot

    2. Instead of First name or last name he would like to add a possibility to type in a nickname

Are those changes possible? Thank you in advance :)

    Best regards from Germany

    Georg

    Thank you for understanding!

    Hello Georg,

You are welcome. Glad to see it worked.

    1. There isn't a possibility to hide the ending time of a time slot in Amelia with its current built-in features.

    2. The First and Last name are mandatory fields in Amelia, you can only rename them (change the strings) if you want for one of them to be a Nickname, but some input must be provided for both of the fields in the booking process.

If you have any further questions feel free to ask.

P.S. When you have questions or issues which are not related to the title of the active ticket please open a new ticket, and we will gladly help you there. This way, issues and questions which are related to different subjects will be in different tickets so other customers or our support agents can find them easily. Our policy is to have one issue or question per ticket.
