When we create events (we have been using eventbrite) we usually share them on facebook. For this to work there needs to be a separate event page with image text etc.
The event description field is very small, and the text in it is displayed on the event without any linebreaks or anything. This works fora short 1 paragraf text but not for a longer description (like a course or something). What are the options for handling larger descriptions and displaying them properly on a page by themselves?
I have the free version presently, but it is unclear whether the paid version is better on this point.

in relation to promo code: is it possible to offer a limited number of promotional tickets or is it applicable to all tickets?
P.S. I really like your plugin. It is a beautiful interface. But the lack of options (as I see it) to format descriptions of events and markets them individually is a severe limitation.
Do you maybe have an example/link of that page so I can take a look.
As for the hiding the capacity of the events you can do this by using CSS, i can also help you with that if you have a link of the page where you have events.

I would also like the possibility of making a "grid" of events, with images and prices on the events. It seems the images you allow are very small thumbnail images in the list of events. But is it possible to make a grid (like a 4x2 grid for 8 events for instance)
I can see now what you mean. Unfortunately Events are there is no option to change this at the moment. Events are one of the newest features and it lacks some functionalities. But we will definitely consider adding the option to format the description and much more.
So features like formatting the description , grid view etc is something for the future updates.
As for the discount:
We do have option for coupons, you can find more about them on this link. The only issue here is that you will need to send them the coupon code before they make a booking.
As for the Time zone:
We are located in Belgrade, Serbia and our working time is 10:00- 17:00 CET.
Thanks. Perhaps you could enter as feature request the option to show/hide capacity and number of seats sold. Seems like an obvious feature and must be very easy to implement.
As stated there are two real important things missing in your system:
1. Individual pages for events that can be linked to on social media
2. A grid like overview of events (like a 4 column layout).
Apart from that I think you have a really kick-ass system.
What are the chances that some of these things could be implemented within a month or so? We will be launching a site in February where we need these features and I would prefer it we could go with you.
I would say that with these features you will distance yourself from the competition completely. There ought to be a lot of business in that apart from a single happy customer (me).

As far as I know there are some features that are most requested from our customers that are currently in a developing stage.
So I can not guarantee when the features that you mentioned below will be included. But like I mentioned, the events are rarely new feature and it is good to have a feedback like this to know that to implement next for Event booking.
