Hi,
I am looking for a way that would allow me to create a course catalog that can do the following:
Search by keyword (but only search the course listings and not the entire site) Filter by grade Filter by subject area
The actual courses do not need their own page as this information is only title, grade level, subject and description.
I have an example of the basic type of functionality here -> https://www.springlakeparkschools.org/high-school/register/course-offerings/2020-2021-registration-guide?post_category_id=108&tag_id=78
Will this plugin work the way the above example works?
Thanks,
Jen
Hello Jennifer
Thank you for your interest in our plugin.
I'm not sure if wpDataTables would suit your needs here.
You can create a few tables, containing the data you need, and you can apply filters so it changes what's being displayed from those tables, but search works only for the table that it's connected to.
If you have one table containing all grades, you can add a predefined filter which could be changed, however it couldn't be changed on click, but either through a checkbox (multi-select option), or select-box.
Would you have all data in a single table, or divide them in multiple tables?
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
