Hi, I need that if a new customer login or register himself on the website (with "amelia customer" role), he doesn't need to login again for the front cabinet. How can i do that ?

If it's not possible this way, can a customer register himself an account directly from the amelia plugin WITH a password ? Like this he doesn't have to login on the website and on amelia cabinet ?

    Thank's in advance.

    Hi Sylvain

We set the token to last 30 days, so when your customers log-in, they stay logged in until they delete cache.

Every time they visit the site again, the token gets renewed, so they will be logged in for antother 30 days.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi,

That's absolutely not answering my 2 questions..

    1. A new customer create an account with the "wordpress create an account" thing, where every new customer got the "amelia customer" role. And when the user is created, he is automatically an amelia client.
Like this, when the customer is registrating himself, he can login in the front cabinet. How can i do that ?

    2. Other option, I just need a "create an account" option in the front cabinet login page.

Because actually, if a new wp user is created, i need to go to the back office to the client area, create a new client with the new wp user, and i want it automatically done.
So right now the front cabinet is useless

    Hi again Sylvain

Unfortunately, it can't work like that.

Amelia Customer roles are created if you enabled "Automatically create Amelia Customer user" in Roles Settings of Amelia, and after they complete the booking.

Another option would be to enable "Anyone can register", and have the Register option available on wp-admin page. Also, you would need to configure WordPress, so the default user role is set to "Amelia Customer":

If you enabled that, and your customers can register, they would be able to register, and log into WordPress after they receive the e-mail.

To have them redirect to the page where [ameliacustomerpanel] shortcode is, you would need to install a plugin like Peter's Login Redirect, for example, and have the users be redirected to the Amelia Customer Panel log-in page. If you haven't enabled the notifications, or haven't added the customer panel placeholder in the notifications, your customers won't receive the password, so they can click on "Forgot Password", and a new password is sent to their e-mail address they entered when they registered.

Only after that can they log into Amelia Customer Panel with the credentials previously defined.

    2. This is a good suggestion, and it will be forwarded to our development team. At the moment, you can add some simple text below [ameliacustomerpanel] shortcode, like:

Don't have an account? Register here.

And "Register here" could be a hyperlink to http://yourwebsite.com/wp-login.php?action=register

That would bring up the register form, just like the one they see when they access wp-admin page.
