Hey everyone!
With the holiday season upon us, we want to share our upcoming working hours:
- New Year: Our team will be off on January 1st and 2nd. We’ll be back on Friday, January 3rd, to respond to any messages received during this time.
- Weekend: As usual, we don’t work on weekends, so January 4th and 5th will also be non-working days.
- Orthodox Christmas: Our office will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, January 6th and 7th for the holiday.
After that, we’ll return to our regular schedule and assist you as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find tons of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel), which might just have the answers you need while we’re away.
Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!
Warm regards and happy holidays!

Can visitors to a website using WpDataTables input their own data? For example, if a table was designed to calculate the amount of antioxidants a person consumed from drinking a cup of tea, then could the user enter the number of cups they consumed in a day and see the result of the calculation?
Is there any ability for the user (visitor to the website table) to input variables or data? If so, what variables or data can be used?
Thank you.
Hello Steven.
Thank you for your interest in our plugin.
All server-side tables (manual, SQL Query based tables, and imported tables) can be editable, and you can allow editing on front-end.
If you wish your visitors to see only their own data, they would need to be registered WordPress users, and then you could create a table with "Users see and edit only own data" feature enabled.
For you to use the Calculation Functions or Formula columns, you would need to use only numeric columns (Integer or Float). You can also see if the plugin would work for you by checking out our fully functional sandbox.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
