Hi, Is it possible to make a service accessible only to a specific user group.
For example, I have a private meeting room (which I will consider as a service) in my organization. I want only users (who are not employees) belonging to a specific group to have access to reservations for this room. I understand that via a shortcode I can show them and make them available precisely. I can even make them accessible only in the back-end in the configuration. Can we use the "custom fields" to create a wordpress user using this field will give an additional role to the Wordpress user. So I will be able to make using this role a redirect at the time of login on the page which contains the good shortcode. You can also offer me other solutions. Thank you
I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features.
What you're trying to achieve can be done with some Membership, or User Role plugins. With them you can allow only certain user roles to access a given page. There you will be able to add the shortcode where this service would only be displayed, but keep in mind that you will have to modify other booking pages on your website to exclude that service.
Because when you allow this service to be visible on front-end, if you add [ameliabooking], or any other shortcode, it will display all services, including that one.
