Is it possible to make a service accessible only to a specific user group.

For example, I have a private meeting room (which I will consider as a service) in my organization. I want only users (who are not employees) belonging to a specific group to have access to reservations for this room.
I understand that via a shortcode I can show them and make them available precisely. I can even make them accessible only in the back-end in the configuration.
Can we use the "custom fields" to create a wordpress user using this field will give an additional role to the Wordpress user. So I will be able to make using this role a redirect at the time of login on the page which contains the good shortcode.
You can also offer me other solutions.
