At the moment, all available info about the plugin can be found in our documentation. To see the details about Amelia Customer WP User, please take a look here.
To be able to reschedule a booking, they would need to log into their WP User Account. If you didn't enable this in Amelia Roles Settings/Customer, they won't be able to reschedule the appointment, since they don't have the WP User created:
However, we are going to release the Front-End customer cabinet today, so there will be a lot more options for your customers in the future.
Unfortunately, at the moment, they can only change their e-mail as a WordPress user, but that won't affect the "Amelia Customer" user role, as that is being saved in a different table in the database.
Like I mentioned - we're releasing the front-end customer cabinet, so they will have a lot more options available.
Words can be changed using POEDIT or Loco Translate for example very easily. I suggest you to install Loco Translate and then to translate "Amelia" to "Your appointment".
If they paid online, through Stripe, PayPal or WooCommerce, you'll need to refund those purchases through the payment engine they paid with. Amelia only connects to your existing accounts, so it can accept payments, but cannot refund purchases.
Have you tried our new Customer Panel? It's been designed to be more user-friendly towards your customers.
Hi.
Is there a video / manual for end users of Amelia (customers, people who book appointments using Amelia) ?
I am looking for answers to questions such as:
How can I change my booking (e.g. postpone my appointment)?
How can I change my phone number ?
How can I change my email address?

thanks Aleks.
In the left side menu, users need to click on Amelia to be able to cancel their appointment.
They don't know what Amelia is. How can I change "Amelia" to "Your appointment" ?
Second, what happens to their money if they cancel an appointment ?
It is not at all obvious how to CHANGE an appointment. One only sees how to cancel it.

I tried that, Aleksander,
But search the plugin with LocoTranslate does not find the "Amelia" as the menu entry to be translated
Oh, I see Marc. You want to translate the menu string.
For that, please open ../wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/src/Infrastructure/WP/WPMenu/Submenu.php, and around line 46 you'll see the string:
Simply change 'Amelia' to what you want it to be, and it will be translated.
