We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
hey
Is it a way to add placeholder into my employee email
How the customer choose to pay if it’s with PayPal and if the transaction is ok
The url to cancel an appointment if my customer ask for it
And is it possible to add this placeholder into my google calendar to just click into this link or double check if the Paypal paiement is done. thanks
Hello Jrm57,
Apologies for replying late, we had a non-working day yesterday.
- Yes, you can add placeholders to your employees' notifications - just click on 'Show Email Placeholders' and copy/paste the placeholder that you need in the 'Message field' (when you click on the placeholder it is copied). Please look at the attachments.
- If the payment method chosen is PayPal in the booking process the customer will be redirected to sign in to PayPal and if they payment is done successfully there the booking process will be completed.
- You can add the URL to the notifications by copy/pasting the placeholder in the message field of the notification that you need (please look at my first answer it is the same process). Please look at the attachments.
- There isn't a placeholder in Amelia to check if a payment is done through PayPal, when the customers pay through PayPal the booking will be done successfully and the appointment will be created. You can check the Finance section of Amelia, and the only way to see if the money are transferred to your PayPal is to check your account there (on PayPal account).
If you have any further questions or concerns feel free to ask,
Thank you !
I added %appointment_cancel_url% into my google calendar but nothing appears into it.
I added %appointment_cancel_url% to the employee email. But nothing appears too.
Hello Jrm57,
Could you please tell me in more details what is the issue? When you click on the link in the email notification the appointment is not canceled or? Thanks!
In my employee email, the placeholder is empty so i don’t have any link in my employee email. For the customer it’s ok, he can click on the cancelation link.
But it’s empty in the employee email and into the description of the google calendar. So to cancel an appointment for my customer I have to go into the admin.
Hello Jrm57,
Unfortunately, the employees can't cancel the appointments from a URL in the notifications, only the customers. Sorry if I misunderstood your question somehow. I didn't realize the questions were connected, I thought there are 4 separate questions.
The employee can login to WordPress with Amelia Employee role and manage their appointments there. You just need to enable the options they can have in Amelia -> Settings -> Roles Settings.
