I bought this plugin because of it's flexibility and for the ease of having everything in one place.
But almost all of our events recur as something like "every 3rd Thursday" or "every 2nd Sunday" Since that isn't an option I have to enter every single event individually.
Also, I was under the impression that there would be 2-way sync with Google Calendar....in which case I would be fine with not having that basic recurring option. But, turns out, it doesn't sync events. Only appointments. So again, I'm back to having to do a ton of manual data entry...put every event into Amelia, put every event into Google Cal, put every event into Facebook Events.
Surely there's a better way. Actually right now, I'd just be happy with being able to choose "every 3rd Thursday" as a recurrence pattern. It seems to me that it would be more common that something randomly recurring on the 10th each month.

Unfortunately, the Google calendar sync is only for Services in Amelia, not the Events. The Events feature is relatively new one in Amelia, everything was created and done around services before. Events and Services are completely separate features and this is why services' features can't be applied to events as well.
I will add your request to our list of feature requests, and if there are more requests same/similar to this one this will be implemented sooner, since we implement the most requested features first. We try to add as many features as we can in each update, and we do get a lot of requests from our users.
