Is it possible to set appointment status per service? I have some services I‘d like to be approved immediately, and other I‘d like to approve by myself.

I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features.
Our developers have it in their "to-do" list, but I cannot tell you when it will be implemented. We were very busy preparing a new feature - front-end customer cabinet, which will be released this week, so all other features like default status per service have been put on hold.
