The event IDs are stored in the database, and can't be seen from plugin's UI.
However, if you have the Gutenberg editor, you can add Amelia Events View block, and then you will be able to expand the advanced options on far right of the screen. There you will be able to select the Event you wish to display.
hope you are doing well. Following Up on this ticket:
I checked the Gutenberg Editor for the events. Why do recurring events have multiple IDs? I have 11 different yoga clases with a fixed weekly schedule. So I would ie need [ameliaevents event=x recurring=1] to show me all dates of class X for 2020?
Each recurring event is stored with a new ID in the database. If you need to show all recurring events starting from the first one, you simply need to select that event's ID, and enable recurring.
If you have 10 recurring events (all created from a single event), and you want to display recurring events starting from the third date, you can add it like [ameliaevents event=3 recurring=1]. If you want to display it from the 5th, then the shortcode should be [ameliaevents event=5 recurring=1], and it will display all events starting from the 5th date.
thx for your reply. So in my case I have a week schedule for Yoga Classes, in total I think 14 different classes (Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga etc.) recurring from Monday to Sunday. So, I need 14 landing pages showing all recurring events and of course not show past events. How would that work?
Can you please open a new ticket, since we're writing on Carin's ticket?
In short - if you have an event for every class, you could simply enter the first event's shortcode with recurring set to 1. Once the date passes, this event should be hidden from front end, showing only recurring events that exist in the future.
I want to display events separately but I cant find event IDs to use shortcode [ameliaevents event=1]
