Amelia plugin support / services

I am a new business user to Amelia plugin :-) I have a couple of questions relating to Amelia,

    1. Is there is no way to have a service where a client can order it without having to select employee and date, eg we offer bulk buy, say 5 classes for the price of 4, there is no need to select a teacher or a date as it a group class. Person has 8 weeks to use his/her 5 classes on of 1 of any 3 nights in any class.

    2. Currently to get around the above issue we are using services, we have created a 5 class and 10 class pass on the Modern Jive page and for the life of me we cant work out why the user can only select Mondays for this service, all other dates are blocked out, I have checked settings for employee and services and all appear to be set correctly.  See attached

Obviously I need help, even if I am looking right at the fix, because I can't see it :-)

    Hello Shane,

    Thank you for your purchase!smile.png

    1. You can show one specific service with one employee if you create a shortcode for specified employee/service for example - [ameliabooking service=1 employee=1] or similar, depending on how many services/employees you have. You can find all Amelia shortcodes that you can use on your pages following this link. Unfortunately, we don't have bulk purchases in Amelia with its current built-in features but we have this feature in our to-do list for one of our future releases.

    2. Could you please tell me how you set up the employees' work hours, are the services assigned to all days here?

Also, are the work time periods longer than the services duration (together with its buffer times)?

Here are the screen shots and I also checked the following on the 2 employees:

    • How long does the service last (3 hrs)
    • Does that service have any buffer time applied before or after (nil)
    • Under Employee go to Working Hours and see what his working hours are - are they long enough to fit the service? (i believe so)
    • Under Employee, go to Special Days and see if you have any special days configured (nil)
    • Under Employee, go to Days Off, and see if there are any days off configured (Nil)
    • If your employee is connected to the Google Calendar - are there any busy events on Google Calendar's side? (no)
    • If you have one employee, and he is already assigned to work on events, those time slots will not be available for booking. (no conflicting)

See attached, I feel like it something simple and I am just over looking it because I have been in it too long now I cant see the problem.   Cheers Shane

    Hello Shane,

    Thank yousmile.png

I see on the work hours screenshot that on Mondays all services assigned to this employees are available and on other days some are available but not all of them (there is a list of services assigned). Could you please check is this service that is available only on Monday in the lists of the assigned services for other days? Thanks!

You are awesome, problem fixed, thank you so much, I would never have been able to work that out on my own.  I look forward to the future updates on the system for bulk purchasing. :-)

    Cheers
