Everything is working great except that when I want to add an entry or edit an entry I get an error that tells me that "Editing files is not supported at the moment" I would really like to have this functionality. Is there a reason that this is not available? I understand that the form is being hosted in the pop up and I don't see any reason why I couldn't edit the image.
I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features.
If you try to edit the row where you have an attachment, it would lose the attachment. Doesn't matter if you change the file or not - if you simply click on "edit", and then on "Save", it will still lose the image.
Our developers have been trying to solve the issue, but they haven't been able to.
Ok, yea that is interesting and really frustrating. Do you know if this issue is still trying to be solved? If it is do you think it will be fixed soon? It sounds like it might be a gravity forms issue. I am just curious to know. I think I have a way around the issues but I really don't want to leave the workaround as a long term solution.
There are some limitations coming from Gravity's side, like this one, and filtering, search and sorting when it comes to server-side tables. We're trying to work with Gravity's team to resolve all this, but up until now we weren't able to get some quality time with their developers to be able to resolve the issue.
We're trying to resolve it, but I don't believe a fix will be implemented any time soon, unfortunately.
