Hi, I have tried setting up the email notification to send out automation email upon client booking and other action.
I have setup with the SMTP gmail method as described in the support document, which I did receive an email from Google saying that my email was being login from India and I have already allowed the "less secured app" as mentioned.
However, I failed to receive any email. Even when I try sending a test email, it failed as well. Kindly look into this asap.
Amelia has pretty simple configuration, just like Outlook or Thunderbird, so you just enter the SMTP details, and that's it. What's happening here is probably imposed by your hosting provider. For some reason, a lot of hosting providers intentionally block gmail, yahoo, and other SMTPs because they have their own.
Can you please reach out to your hosting provider and ask them if this is the case?
In the mean-time, please access Notification settings in Amelia, and change from SMTP to WP Mail. It should work after that.
Thanks for the respond. I think this might be the case since i resolved this after using "SiteGround" (which is my server hosting) own SMTP credentials. Will check with them regarding to this. Thanks a lot.

Hi again Justin.
I see you're already speaking with Marija on that other ticket, so I can only see if there's anything I can do to help her out when she gets in.
Also, you provided some additional info, along with log-in credentials, so we'll be taking a look at that too.
Kind Regards,
