We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
I have a SQL database on AWS that is updated every second. Each table represents a different fuel tank. Every second is far too granular and so I'm looking for a solution that would enable my wpdatatable to check every 8 hours (or 12 or even 24 hours) and update the percentage left in the tank. Also for the chart then to reflect the current percentage left in the tank. Is this possible?
Objective:
25 tanks - regularly measured (so 25 wpdatatables & 25 charts)
query to AWS table every 8 hours and get latest record for each tank percentage full (e.g. 49.1, 78.2, 12.4, etc.)
update each of the 25 wpdatables for individual tanks with latest record.
update each of the 25 charts with latest information from respective table.
Hello Joshua.
Thank you for your purchase.
Every server-side table (manual and SQL Query based tables) have the auto-refresh option. If you enter the amount of seconds after which the table will refresh, it will do so without the need to refresh the entire page.
When you create a chart from that table, you need to enable "Follow table filtering" during Chart creation, and place both the table and the chart on the same page. It will also refresh at the same moment. So, the only thing you need to do is apply the time in seconds after which the table will automatically refresh, and that's it.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Brilliant! Thank you for that reply. I'll look into this and attempt to make it work. Sounds simple enough.
