I'm newly purchased of wpDataTables and Master-Details add-on. I love the plugin. It's saved me thousands of lines of code and does exactly what I need for the most part. However, I've been trying to use Master-Details to produce the effect of pre-filtering data. My Master-Details table is set to open to a page template for my Details table. On my template page I call for new full tables via the standard shortcode with a VAR1 = Variable it is here that I've tried to input the data from the Master table. Example: [wpdatatable id=30 var1='%ID%']... I understand that this is not what was intended with these plugins however could you point me in the right direction to accomplish the end results while still using Master-Details as I love the summary list of the tables it represents.
Edit: I've found that most of my issues with filtering by URL were caused by over pre-filtering during table creation. Once I recreated and left out all pre-filtering on my tables I was able to properly use URL filtering. However if you have any information that you would suggest about the above ticket question, I would love your insight.
Thanks for all your hard work on this plugin, once again it's sweet.
Hello John.
Thank you for your purchase and for your kind words.
I'm not sure I understand how you're trying to assign the ID to the placeholder. You mean like displaying the values of a currently logged-in user?
If that's what you need, you can simply enable "Users see and edit only own data" under "Editing" tab, and that's it:
If I didn't understand correctly, please explain in a bit more detail.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Please disregard my ticket as it was just my understanding that needed to be clarified. After some more research, I found the methods needed to do as I wished.
Thank you for your time in this matter.
