We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to automatically show the latest entries on top of the table on a webpage (so, without sorting it manually...).
I couldn't find information in the documentation about this.
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Sander Michelsen
Hello Sander.
Thank you for your purchase.
If you have a manual table, or a table that is stored in the database, and has an auto-increment row ID column, then this is possible, yes.
Every manual table has a hidden wdt_ID column, which stores the ID of every new row. You can sort the table in descending order by that column, and it will show the last entry on top. To get to wdt_ID settings, you need to click on "Complete Column List" button - the yellow button above the table, on the right:
When you click on it, you'll see a screen like this:
To access settings, click on the wrench, and it'll open up column settings for wdt_ID column, where (under Sorting tab), you can configure if the sorting will be ascending or descending.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
