I've been struggling getting some callbacks and Chart.js plugins to work, and I finally figured out why. wpDataTables is using Chart.js 2.4 from 2016! That's old!
How about updating to include at least 2.7, if not 2.8 or 2.9?
I have forwarded this information to our development team, and they said they will work on it. It will require additional testing of the library and for any possible conflicts.
We will look into implementing this as soon as possible, but I cannot tell you exactly when. Thank you again.
