OK, we have to delete the version of the plugin we download from the WP site and then download and install the version from the TMS site, remembering to first save the tables we created with the free version by changing the setting at the bottom of Main Settings. A bit awkward and unusual but it works.
Exactly right - you do need to deactivate/delete the Lite version, to be able to install/activate the full license.
We implemented the slider to prevent data deletion from the database as an option, because there are people who want everything to disappear when they delete the plugin, and then there are people who want to save the data too.
I have the latest plugin download from the WP plugins site. There is no activation tab per these instructions: https://wpdatatables.com/documentation/general/installation/
What are we supposed to do?
