Hi - this is a message from my client who has Amelia installed on their website:
Is there anyway we can ensure that anyone that books any kind of jump or laser tag or party online that they MUST pay for 50% (non refundable) of their booking or 100% (100% if they wanted to) of their booking please?
We are getting people booking jumps / laser tag and then not showing up, so we would like to cut this down by them paying a deposit online straight away when they book please
If they don’t pay a deposit then I don’t want them to be able to make a booking
If you could send me info to send on to them that would be very helpful. Thanks
I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features.
What your client can do is create separate services - "Appointment with 50% deposit", and "Appointment with 100% deposit", and set up a different price.
For the first service, they can add a custom field that informs the customer that the payment they process during booking is only 50%, and that they need to pay additional fee when they get on site. At the moment that's the only workaround for this request.
