We're trying to add a slide to our home page showing pictures of service providers registered as Amelia Employees.
We've tried to add from the Amelia shortcode link but the only options given are bookings, search, catalogue and events. Is there another way of getting this to link to the Amelia employee profiles?
Thanks Marija, I'll give that a go again and see if it works.
From memory the employee dropdown box didn't show but can see you have screenshots for Gutenberg and Classic. We use Visual Studio, would this make a difference? Sorry for my ignorance!
If you use some page builder, you won't see the IDs there probably, so you can check out the IDs in your database, or, for example (I would do this) add the Classic editor and check the ID this way (make the shortcode with the ID) and copy/paste the shortcode to the element that you want in the page builder you use.
Hope this helps!
If you have any further questions or concerns feel free to ask,
we are after the same thing, but are uncertain how to accomplish this. Referring to the link Marja supplied, We can't locate a shortcode for an employee profile. (https://wpamelia.com/faq/)
ie. Prior to booking we wish to see the employee profiles simliar to the backend so the customer can choose who they wish to book.
I see that you have opened a ticket for your use case so I will answer your questions there.
There isn't an option to show the employees' profile from Amelia in the front-end, you need to make their profile on the pages that you create on your website and put a shortcode for a specific employee (lfor example [ameliabooking emplpoyee=1] on that page so the booking form will be available there for that employee.

Hello Tania,
With the shortcodes booking and catalog you can specify one employee - [ameliabooking employee=1] and [ameliacatalog employee=1]
You can check out the IDs of the services / categories / employees when you click on Preselect Booking Parameters:
when using Gutenberg blocks :
using Classic editor:
You can also find all the IDs in your database.
You can check out all Amelia shortcodes that you can use on your pages following this link.
Hope this helps!
