We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

Invert tables?

Is there an easy way to invert a table from linked data?

I'm having trouble turning my data into a pie chart, which allows only two columns. My data looks kind of like this:

    Label                 Total             Active            Inactive

    Podcasts           505939       5034              50700

wpDataTables will let me select only two columns, and the first must be a string. So is there a way to maintain the data link to my JSON file and invert this data so it looks like the following?

    Label      Podcasts

    Total       505939

    Active      5034

    Inactive   50700

I would need to do such inversion from wpDataTables while maintaining the link, so I can easily get the latest data from the data source.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi again Daniel.

Looks like you need to pivot the table, and unfortunately something like this is not possible with wpDataTables.

What I usually recommend for this would be to perform the PIVOT of the table in the database, but since you're linking to a JSON file, this wouldn't work for you. So, you would need to prepare a PHP adapter which would transform the data to the table that you need.

    Kind Regards,
