I am using the WpDataTables in integration with the Report Builder plugin to create several reports. So far we have two reports with Download Buttons so that the user can download the report when they are done filtering. The download is working for the first report, but is timing out for the second report.
I have turned on wordpress debugging and found out the Maximum Execution Time was being exceeded, so I raised it from 30 seconds to 300 and then from 300 to 600. The page still times out with a HTTP 504 error when I click the button.
What's strange is that when I download a preview of the report, it works seamlessly.
I'm not sure why this is happening, but I'd love to take a look.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
