I have a chart in a wordpress page populated by a SQL table using your plugin. I am not publishing the table in the wordpress page, just the chart.
My question (1) is whether the opening of the wordpress page will automatically refresh the SQL query and therefore table and therefore the chart.
When I load the table in a page, it seems to refresh the data automatically when that page is opened, but not if there is just the chart.
My follow up question (2): is there way of either having the chart data refreshed automatically on opening the wordpress page or on a timer, such as every 24 hours?
The charts depend on the table, so when the page is refreshed it will pull the data from the table.
SQL Query based tables are refreshed instantaneously, so when you refresh the page, the plugin will display whatever change was made in the database.
If you wish your chart to auto-refresh, you can add the auto-refresh interval in the table, enable "Follow table filtering" when creating the chart, and then place them both on the same page. If you don't want to show the table, you can hide it with some custom CSS.
