Thank you for your understanding, and we wish you a wonderful holiday weekend!
Hi guys,
Could you let me know what the shortcode is to display just one event?
I'd like to create a series of links on my 'Class Booking' page that go to that specific recurring event (it'll then show all of the available slots for that event).
I'll be creating new pages for each event, then hopefully just inserting a shortcode in there which will allow the user to book onto the time slot they want.
Simon
Hi Simon
At the moment we have these shortcodes available for events:
You can also use "Amelia - Events view" in Gutenberg editor, and it offers all these options in the right side of the screen.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Silly question, but where do I find the ID for each event?
Hi again Simon.
Well, it's not a silly question, as it can't be seen from the UI yet. We'll add that to one of the next versions of the plugin, but until then, you can take a look at the event ID from the database, in wp_amelia_events table.
Or using the Gutenberg editor. It shows both the ID and the event name on the far right, and you can see the event ID in the shortcode it generates.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Hello Aleksandar,
Tagging on to this conversation about events and shortcodes -
Is there a way to show a user the list of current/future events for which he/she has RSVP'd?
My membership site has subscribers who rsvp for events, some of which are recurring events, and others one time events. The subscribers are asking to be able to see a list of all the upcoming events for which they have rsvp'd.
Possible to do?
Thanks!
Karen
Hello Karen.
I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features.
It's a good suggestion, though. I will forward this to our development team, so they can look into possible options for implementing this.
Unfortunately, I cannot say when, or if it will be added, since there are quite some feature requests already pending.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
