Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

Is it possible to move existing customer data over.

Is there a review option for clients post appointment?

Is the booking embedded directly on my page or does it leave to a new page?

Can clients manage their own appointments (change time if available or cancel)

Is there a cost for SMS reminders?

    Hi Cheryl,

    Thanks for your interest.

We currently do not have import of the customers, but we plan to add thi feature in December most probably along with Customer cabinet.

Can you explain thi one: Is there a review option for clients post appointment?

You can embed booking form to any page with a shortcode.

Yes, clients can cancel or reschedule appointments. We have SMS reminders and the cost is per massage depending on the country. You can let me know what country you are from and I can send you the pricing.

Hope this helps and let me know if you have further questions!

    Thanks so much Nevena!

The review one is for clients to rate their service. Currently the system we use sends an email out 48 hours post appt and asks “how did we do” kinda thing.

I’m in Canada for the sms pricing :)

    Thanks again!

Oooo also, what do you mean by customer cabinet?

Also for the import tool, can you let me know when it becomes available? We have over 1000 customers and appointments currently scheduled until next May in some cases so a migration will be a timely manual effort for us.

Is someone available to schedule a call with to go over a few more things, I’m very interested in your product but would love to chat with someone about the install process.

Thanks again for your help :)

No worries, just thought it’d be easier to talk through the plug in installation process. Can I set everything up without making it live since it will take some time to get data migrated over?

Is the sms linked directly to my cell phone number? My carrier isn’t in the list (I’m with Koodo which is a division of Telus) I’m looking at the price list and it looks like 1 cent roughly per text or am I reading that wrong :)

Can my staff have their own logins to schedule and manage their hours?

I’ll likely have more questions as we go, I’m going to spend some more  time in the demos too :)

    Hi Cheryl,

Yes, take a look at the demos:  https://wpamelia.com/demos/ since that is the best way to explore and feel, on this one you can try backend as well: https://sports.wpamelia.com/

Regarding setting up notifications the price is depending on you customers' carrier. Learn more about setting up SMS notifications here: https://wpamelia.com/sms-notifications/

Yes, you ca make Amelia Employee User role for your employees, read more about it here: https://wpamelia.com/users-and-roles/

Feel free to get back to me if you have any additional questions!

This is all fabulous, thank you. Sorry more questions :)

Can you let me know the difference between and paid and free versions?

Customer cabinet, can you explain a little further for me what this will entail when it comes through?

Amelia seems very new, any chance it will stop be supporting at some point? I am looking for a long term solution.

For the actual booking process, we are a services based company. Can people select the product they are interested in on the first step to see the availability? Some of our clients pick no preference for their employee of choice but our appointments are all set by length of time.

Since we are only 1 location, can this be disabled as a mandatory field?

    Hi Cheryl,

All our plans (Basic, Pro and Developer) have the same features, the difference is just by the number of domains. In free version of the plugin there's various limitations, for example there's just one employee, payment can be just on site and so on. We have subscription based plans and lifetime plans. We have en extensive road map and plans for Amelia, so no need to worry about that.

Customer cabinet is one of bigger features we plan to add soon, it will be a new shortcode that you can place on your page so your customers can login on frontend and manage their appointments and events.

If you have just one location, the location dropdown won't be shown. You can define the duration for each service. Customers can select an employee, or they can choose any, so the employee will be assigned randomly. When they pick up the service the calendar with available dates and times will show up.

We have different booking forms for appointments, you can take a look here:

Hope this helps and let me know if you have any further question.
