Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

Is is possible to work Amelia plugin with wordpress.com multilingual?

WPML just translate what is in the page but can not translate the combo values.

    Hello Marcos.

Translator plugins like WPML are able to translate the static strings, but dynamic strings like Notification templates, service names, personal names, any custom fields you enter, and so on cannot be translated.

That's a limitation of translator plugins, and unfortunately there's nothing we can do about it. The dynamic strings are strings which can be added or changed by anyone, so the translator plugins' logic cannot work around that.

My advice would be to reach out to WPML's team, and ask them if there's a way the plugin could translate dynamic strings, although I never heard someone was able to do that.

    Kind Regards,

    Aleksandar Vuković

    Hello İbrahim.

Thank you for contacting us. The same answer I provided for Marcos applies here:

That's a limitation of translator plugins, and unfortunately there's nothing we can do about it. The dynamic strings are strings which can be added or changed by anyone, so the translator plugins' logic cannot work around that.

All static strings are translatable by WPML, Weglot, PolyLang, etc. You can add gibberish to be a dynamic string, or abbreviations - that's why they can't be translated. If you make a typo in a dynamic string, it will not be translated. For instance, in my native language (Serbian) - there's no word for "sibling", so it can't be translated at all. If you enter a service name, or expect translator plugins to translate notification templates, it's not going to happen. Maybe the question should be forwarded to WPML, and see if they are working on translating dynamic strings.
