I have already asked this question before, and I got an answer from Alexander, but the answer was just a couple of questions, I am sorry I couldn't find this old ticket so I am creating another one.
I followed all the steps to set up the Notifications settings but unfortunately I didn't succeed. I tried Gmail, SMTP WP and Mailgun but still when I tested the booking on my website and:
- Client side: no notification received only google calendar invitation.
- Employee side: I am getting email notification when a lesson is booked but nothing when it's cancelled or the date is changed.
If you're receiving an email as an employee, you should also be receiving an email as a customer. There may be a bug if you configured everything correctly.
Can you please set it up so that the employee notifications work, and then please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do. I can see that you've entered all info under SMTP, and that should be correct. If you can try these settings with Outlook, ThunderBird or any other mailing app, and it works, it should also work with Amelia, as it uses the same principle.
However, some hosting providers intentionally block Gmail SMTP credentials, so you cannot connect to it. You need to reach out to your hosting provider, and ask them if this is the case, and if so - what can you do to bypass it.
Hi there,
I have already asked this question before, and I got an answer from Alexander, but the answer was just a couple of questions, I am sorry I couldn't find this old ticket so I am creating another one.

Could you please help me on that?
Thanks,

Hello again Djeff.
Thanks for the credentials.
Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do. I can see that you've entered all info under SMTP, and that should be correct. If you can try these settings with Outlook, ThunderBird or any other mailing app, and it works, it should also work with Amelia, as it uses the same principle.
