Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

    Hi

We have been using the free version of the wpdatatables plugin for some time and have today decided to upgrade to a full paid version.

However it is not seeing the data that our members have input using the free version.

We have not deleted anything we just renamed the plugin as 'OLD' in the file manager.

Can you advise how we can connect the new paid version of the plugin and our old data?

    Many thanks

    Steve

    Hello Steve.

    Thank you for your purchase.

Both Lite and full version of the plugin have the same folder name in FTP (wpdatatables), and I guess if it sees that folder as "wpdatatables OLD" or something similar, it caused this issue.

My suggestion is to update the plugin manually by following these steps:

IMPORTANT: Do NOT delete the old version from WP-admin (by clicking “Delete” in the plugins page) if you don’t want to lose all your tables!

    1. Download zip from our store

    2. Use FTP to open /your_wordpress_folder/wp-content/plugins

    3. Delete existing wpDataTables folder.

    4. Upload previously downloaded wpDataTables folder through FTP to plugins folder (unzip it)

    5. Go to WP-admin panel, open Plugins section.

    6. Deactivate wpDataTables, and then activate it again.

    7. Clear server and browser cache

You can delete both "wpdatatables" folder through FTP, and then simply unzip the file in ../wp-content/plugins. After that you will see wpDataTables in the Plugins section. When you activate it, all your tables should be there.

    Kind Regards,
