I am using wpDatatables version 2.7.2 and powerful filter version 1.0.4. My problem: I have enabled free cascading filter, a column without exact filter and connected to a lookup list from another wpdatables via a foreign key. As soon as I set a filter at the frontend, the switch "exact filter" is set to enable.
If a column is configured as a foreign key, Exact filtering will be enabled always, and I'm sorry to say that there's no workaround for this. That's the logic of the plugin, and it cannot be changed.

Hello Michael.
Thank you for your purchase.
Unfortunately, as per our documentation:
If a column is configured as a foreign key, Exact filtering will be enabled always, and I'm sorry to say that there's no workaround for this. That's the logic of the plugin, and it cannot be changed.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
