Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

Booking customization for my training course

My client conducts two types of swimming classes. Each class is 6 weeks long course. And they conduct in 3 different locations.

I want to know if Amelia is customizable so that when a customer comes to the website to book, he or she should see the 3 diffferent locations to choose from and then select the type of class he or she wants to join and then see the calendar to see the batch available. Each batch is 6 weeks long. For eg if a customer opens up calendar for Nov, A particular batch if not available should show that it is blocked for all dates from Nov 1st until Dec 7th ( 6 weeks batch) Then she or he should be able to see the next available batch which is 6 weeks batch and see if there is any seat available in that batch. If available book that a seat in that batch. Upon booking the seat availability should automatically reduce. Once all the seats in a batch is full, then that batch should be shown as full.

Can this be achieved through Amelia's booking plugin for wordpress ?

    On the Backend :

My customer conducts swimming coaching in batches (which are 6 week long) and in 3 different locations. Each batch will have approximately 8 seats.Customer should be able to set the batch start dates in each locations from backend and the number of seats per batch.

Can this be achieved through Amelia's booking plugin for wordpress ?
    Please let me know.

    Hi Shiji,

Thank you for your interest in our plugin.

Unfortunately something like this is not possible since at the moment we don't support services that can last multiple days. Our plugin has two options at the moment:

    1) booking appointments where customer chooses one of the available time slots which duration depends on the service duration set in the back-end (currently service duration cannot be longer that one day). At the moment we don't have packages or recurring options so booking classes for 6 weeks wouldn't be possible.

    2) booking events, where events can last multiple days. So, here you have possibility to set this like you need but customer would then choose an event that last 6 weeks and already have set dates. Each event can have maximum capacity and once that capacity is reached the event becomes closed. However, we don't have filter by location at the moment but you can add tag to each event (location name can be tag) and customer can choose like that. More about our events you can read here and here you can see the booking form for events.

    Best regards.
