Hi I'm using a second DB in my Wordpress setup and have configured the "separate DB connection" . All works fine on PHP 7.1, but on switching to 7.3 I get a failure to connect to MySql database so no access = no tables in the page. The URL above shows the page (currently using 7.1 in order to keep the page functional). If needed I can reset to 7.3 to show you the issue. Any idea what's going wrong in the move from 7.1 to 7.3 ? Could this be a hosting issue as opposed to a plugin issue ? Thanks in advance Jim Cluchey
Hello J Cluchey.
Sorry to hear you're having issues.
I personally am using PHP 7.3, and were able to connect separate DB which is also on 7.3. So, it shouldn't be coming from our end. If you were to change to 7.3, could you also please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue? We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.

Wow, Jim, that's some great feedback.
Who's your hosting provider?
It'll be useful if someone else reaches out to us with the same issue. Thank you very much.
