At the present time, the google calendar displays a combined calendar with the DATE and the SERVICE for all of our reservations. But we need to show the DATE and the EMPLOYEE.
No where on the google calendar does the employee field show up. The 'more details' does show it either.
ALTERNATELY
Could we display the more detailed and complete Ameilia calendar on our website. (where the customer could not do anything but look)
The appointments created in Amelia should be showing in Google Calendar as Events with the name of the employee, like this:
"Sale Test" is the name of my test employee, and then, when I click on one of these events, it shows additional info:
Address (Milovana Marinkovica, Belgrade, Serbia); Location name (First Location); Service description; duration; Service name (Bikram Yoga); and finally the price.
We could set up a page where you would be able to display the calendar with all available dates, but to hide the "Continue" button using some CSS, so your customers would be able to see which dates are available, but wouldn't be able to book, if that's what you mean?
I am trying to setup the appointments, not events.
The client wants to show the Employee on the google calendar, not the services.
Alternately, they would like to show the Amelia calendar to the customer.
If either solution can be used, they might consider actually using the plugin (even with it's limitation of not being able to limit one service being 'started' at a time as discussed in another ticket).
I understood you're trying to set up appointments. That's what I said in my reply:
The appointments created in Amelia should be showing in Google Calendar as Events
So, Google Calendar creates Amelia's Appointments as Google Events. That's what was causing confusion.
As for this:
The client wants to show the Employee on the google calendar, not the services.
Again, like I mentioned in my response - "Sale test" you see in Google calendar in my screenshot is the name of my test employee. The Service name is "Bikram Yoga", which can be seen when expanding the Google event in GCal.
Customers can see Amelia's calendar, but only their scheduled appointments when they have a WordPress user created, and when they log in with Amelia Customer user role.
I fear that we don't understand each other here, so I apologize if that is the case. If I am misunderstanding anything, please explain.
I believe you have a different setup in Google Calendar Settings (in Amelia). Please go to Settings/Google Calendar Settings, and you'll see this:
So, set up the "Event Title" to be "%employee_full_name%", and you'll see it like I do. You can also define what will be displayed in the description, as shown in the screenshot above.
These placeholders are the same ones you can find in e-mail Notifications.

Your calendar shows employee/sale test and in the detail it shows service/Bikram Yoga.
So why does my calendar show services/birds. How do get it to show employee/field.
In my detail there is no services/birds.
Is it because my customer first selects 1 services/birds and then selects any or 1 employee/field.
