Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

    Hello,

My name is Gabriel and I am working with a team witch takes home appointment to make quotation or works.

Today, when the customer is calling, I enter his information, including his address, and using Google Maps, I look at what time one of my technician colleague can arrive at the home customer, based on its previous or next location.

Is there in Amelia, a way to manage appointment in different locations, taking into account the travel time ?

    Thank you for your answer.

    Best regards,

    Gabriel

    Hello Gabriel

Thank you for your interest in our plugin.

At the moment, you can assign an employee to different locations per time periods.

For example, if your employee is assigned to Location 1 by default, you can open his working hours and set it up so that he works:

    From 09:00 - 12:00 on Location 1

    From 13:00 - 15:00 on Location 2

    From 16:00 - 18:00 on Location 3

You can also add buffer time before or after the service, so it would cover the travel time.

I am not sure if this is what you're looking for, but at the moment it is the only available option when it comes to multiple locations.

    Kind Regards,

    Aleksandar Vuković

    Hello Aleksandar,

    Thank you for your answer.

I don't think that like this it is adapted. I gona try to explain it better (sorry for my english) : we would like that the customer 1 set his adress in a form and the program automatically assign location 1, then customer 2 set his adress and because he is 30 min (45 min maximum fixed) from the customer 1 and the technician avalaible, he can select the next time slot in a 2nd location.

And so on, like this the customer 3 can see on a weekly schedule the different time slot avalaible depending his location.

    What do you think ?

    Hi Gabriel,

Unfortunately it is not possible to be done automatically. Customer needs to choose location by himself.

The buffer time can be defined in advance, but Amelia can not calculate time depending on the distance.

Let me know if you have further questions.

    Hello Nevena,

Thank you for your clear answer.

Do you know if there is a solution that can take into account travel times ?

An other plugin that we could link to Amelia, or I don't know...

    Hi Gabriel,

I am not aware of such solution.
