So far I like Amelia, especially the Backend administration. I need to let my customers change their appointments or at least let them cancel it. I have enabled this under Users and Roles. I have searched your website and google for any information of how to implement this but to no avail. There is no short code on your list for this. I have seen a reference that this can be done through the backend but I cannot give customers access to my backend. Could you please let me know where I find detailed information to facilitate rescheduling and cancellation through the Frond End.

    regards

    Hello Bruno,

Unfortunately, customers can't reschedule nor cancel their appointments through the front-end in Amelia at the moment. This is a feature that we have a plan to implement in the future, but I can't say exactly when that will be.

For now, the customers can cancel and reschedule their appointments in the back-end, and when you give them Amelia Customer role, this is the only thing they will be able to see in WordPress (their calendar / appointments). You can make one dummy customer to check out how it looks like when you are logged in as customer.

Customers can also cancel their appointments from the notifications that they get after they make an appointment. You need to put a placeholder for this (%appointment_cancel_url%) in the notifications' 'Message' field and when they get a notification they will have a link where they can cancel it.

You can read more about customers and their user roles here

Thank you. Most is clear to me. The only thing I don't know is how to login to back end as an Amelia Customer. I log in to my WP as and administrator via  https://mywebsite.com/wp_admin. What is the link to login to Amelia back end? Is it also via wp_admin or a different address?

    kind regards

    Hello Bruno Gall,

    You are welcome.

Yes, it is the same login link for the customers as well - https://mywebsite.com/wp_admin

The difference is inside the WP, the customers will just see their calendar/appointments in Amelia with Amelia Customer user role.
