We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi Support,
I need a date based filter for a table that filters:
month, 3 months, 6 months, year, max (all)
This so that i can view data:
- from 1 month ago until today
- 3 months ago until today
- ect
The input is 31/01/2019 (D/M/Y).
Is this possible? Thanks in advance.
Hello again KaigeProductions.
I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features.
You could only do this with SQL Query based tables, using the curdate() function.
You can read more about this here.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

I managed to create the filter as i wanted by adding a excel formula to my data sheet (Column A contains date):
OPTION 1 - Slider
For days ago:
=DATEDIF(A1;TODAY();"d")
For months ago:
=DATEDIF(A1;TODAY();"m")
For years ago:
=DATEDIF(A1;TODAY();"y")
Now i have 3 sliders for days, months and years. But i would like the user to be able to only use one slider at the same time. Because now, if the first filter (days ago) is used, the second (months ago) wont do anything unless the filter is reset.
Is there a way i can prevent the use of multiple filters at once?
OPTION 2 - Checkbox
1 Month ago:
=IF(DATEDIF(A1;TODAY();"m")=0;"Yes";"")
3 months ago
=IF(DATEDIF(A1;TODAY();"m")<=3;"Yes";"")
Same question, can i prevent multiple boxes checked?
Hello KaigeProductions,
Aleksandar is on vacation an I will answer you.
Unfortunately at the moment it is not possible to use dependency in filters for range slider. But if i understand you right for checkboxes is possible with our Powerfull filters add-on.
You can try wpDataTables add-ons before purchase on these sandbox site and check is that what you lookimg for.
