    when adding event details in the description, all rich text formatting is lost. 

    Carriage returns and clickable mail addresses are most important. It now just displays a large plain text field

    Could you please tell me which tablets/smartphones are you referring to exactly? 

    And also, it would be great if you could send us screenshots of the front end on these devices and as well as the back end (event description field) in your WP. Also, please send us a screenshot where this works well (laptop probably).

    Hi Marija,

    Oh cr*p... I just realised I looked wrong and it is lost on a computer as well. In the editor it looks like this:

    http://fileshare.onlineprofilecoach.nl/caa792ab7695 and even there mail adresses aren't clickable. I just checked again and on my computer it's the same as on the tablet / smartphone: http://fileshare.onlineprofilecoach.nl/ddab455b141d

    My problem is mostly that spaces and carriage returns are lost, but this is something that is happening on all devices. My initial ticket was wrong so I'm sorry about that.

    Although it would be great if it would be possible to show carriage returns and spaces in the description as it's shown in the edit field. Is this something on the roadmap already perhaps?

    Hello Marc, 

    Thanks! No worries, it's OK.

    You can achieve this (new lines, spaces, carriage returns and even clickable emails/links) using HTML tags in the text field "Description". 

    For example:

    <a href="https://www.google.com/"> Google </a>

    a link to Google , 

    <p> Paragraph </p> for paragraph, 

    <br> for line break, etc.

    Your coworker Aleksander provided an extremely detailed description on this as well in the other ticket. This works perfectly for us so many many thanks again !!


    I do want to point out one thing and that is that your customer service, help and willingness to think outside the box and provide solutions is EXTREMELY good and Highly appreciated !!


    I love the Amelia tool for it's features and ease of use, but the level of support you guys give is just insanely good. It is rare these days to have support like this, so what I'm trying to say is: Thank you very much !!!
