I will describe our process for booking events. Once customer chooses event and number of persons that are coming he proceeds to the booking form where he needs to enter his personal information and pay for the event to finish the booking process. The payment can be set with PayPal, Stripe, or you can use WooCommerce checkout which supports various payment types. We have also on-site payment method and if you set this customers will book the event without payment and they can pay once they arrive to the event.
Invoicing is possible only through the WooCommerce since we don't have invoices as feature in our plugin. At the moment, customers can only login to the back-end to track their scheduled events, but in the next version we will implement front-end booking cabinet for customers so they can do everything from the front.
As for the back-end, I advice you to check our demo here, both back-end and front-end options and to also see this page in the documentation about events.
Attendees cannot be added manually to the event at the moment, but this feature will also be added in the next update.
Users can add files during the booking if you add custom field for attachment, but at the moment admin cannot do this from the back-end.
As for the emails, we have various options, you can read about them here.
can you please confirm that your plugin for event booking can do all of the items listed on the attachment
