I'm glad to hear you resolved the issue, but the Extra shouldn't have anything to do with this.
I wasn't able to replicate the issue on my end. If I have an Extra for a service, and if I disable the “Bringing anyone with you” from being shown on front-end, I only see an option to add Extra:
Can you, please, tell me how to replicate the issue, so we can investigate if there really is a bug on our end?
When we set only one service and one employee, it behaves as it should:
I believe it'd be better if I can remote in and take a look what's going on in your website.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
However, since this is (I assume) Amelia Manager user role, I cannot access Amelia's settings. Can you please make this an administrator role, so I have access to the whole plugin, and options?
I went in and enabled "Allow booking below minimum capacity" in Appointment settings, in Amelia.
With it enabled, there is no "Bringing anyone with you" option in the booking form.
This is used in case a minimum capacity for a service is set to a larger number (for example 2 or 3). The logic of the plugin sees if this is enabled or not, and regardless of the defined minimum still adds "bringing anyone with you?". I have forwarded the issue to our developers, so they can change the logic to "If minimum capacity is set to "1" disregard booking below minimum capacity".
Thank you for your commitment. I have confirmed your reply
----------------------- minimum capacity"1" Allow booking below minimum capacity "On" I CAN remove "bringing anyone with you?" option. -----------------------
Thank you.
In case minimum capacity setting is "1", I think "Allow booking below minimum capacity" option is almost meaningless. And Can The words「Min cap] and [Max cap] define each booking only or whole single service ? It is often confuse me. In future, each booking / whole service I hope to use it properly.
We do agree with you, that the option becomes meaningless, and it has been forwarded to our development team, so they can look into it.
Minimum and Maximum capacity define capacity for the Service, not each individual appointment. Basically, it defines minimum and maximum number of people per Appointment.
Hi,
I have edit service [show “Bringing anyone with you”] switch,But NOT WORKING.
I have set Maximum Capacity more then one ,and show up option "Show "Bringing anyone with you" option".
but I can't remove “Bringing anyone with you” front end booking view.
Can you tell me?
Thank you so much!
Hello masa77.
Thank you for your purchase.
If you have more than one service with max capacity above "1", you need to disable this slider for all services:
So, when you disable this slider, and save the service, it shouldn't be displayed on the front end anymore.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Hello Aleksandar.
I am glad to see your commitment this issue.
Please try to set one service - only one employee.
thank you.
