Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

    Hello,

    I recently purchased Amelia.

    1. Coupons does not work. I can't manage to use them for reduction. It is very important for this website as customers are given coupons code to pay.

    2. How can I get amelia 2.0 ?

    3. I want to change certain dates lessons. For exemple if a employee cannot do its lessons on a certain day at a certain hour, how can I disable registration for this specifique date?

    4. If I have a service for which the lessons are 1 hour and sometimes 1.5 hour, am I obliged to create two separated services?

Thanks, my client is kind of in a hurry right here

    thanks

    Hello thomas.

    Thank you for your purchase.

    1. What do you mean when you say the coupons do not work? If you add coupons, and use the coupon code, it should deduct the price of the service. Are you sure you have installed the full version of the plugin?

    2. You can get the latest version of Amelia (2.2.1) by logging into our store with the credentials you received in your e-mail when you purchased the plugin.

    3. If your employees cannot attend at a certain date and/or time, you can open that employee's tab, go to "Days Off", and define those days. When you do, those dates will not be bookable from front-end.

    4. Unfortunately, services can have only one duration, so yeah - you would either need to create a separate service with different duration, or add a half-hour Extra to the service,  which your customers would be able to select when they visit the booking page.

    Best regards.

    Kind Regards,

    Hello,

    1. The coupon are applied but the total does not change when you apply it.
    2. Ok done thanks. I don't get why I can not activate the automatic update. It might be because my pre-production site was using it too which makes it 2 sites on one purchase code but I don't know how to toogle the activation on the real website
    3. Doesn't work with day off as day off is the full day not a part of the day. I managed to make it work by creating a fake event which overrun the current lessons... Not the best way but it works
    4. ok

I have a new problem, for wordpress administrator. We are wordpress admin but we don't existe as amelia customers. But when we make a reservation, our mail and names are not changeable. When we want to change the email adress in backend, we see that we can not do that on wordpress user AND we don't exist as amelia clients... So we are condamned with our profil even if it has an error inside.

    THanks

    Hi again thomas.

    1. Please check if you configured the coupon properly. You can add either the discount percentage, or price deduction. If you apply both, the coupon will not work.

    2. When you navigate to Amelia's Settings/Activation, simply enter your purchase code, and after you activate the license, you'll see that a new version is available from within Plugins section, so you can auto-update. If you activated the license on the staging site, you first need to deactivate it there, though.

    3. There's another option - to add Special Days to the employee. You can add time periods there, and choose to which services those periods will apply.

    4. The new problem - This is happening probably because this option is enabled in Roles settings:

If you disable this, you should have the fields clear, or at least pre-populated, but able to change.

    Best regards.

    Hello Aleksandar,

    Thank you for your answer.

    1. Unfortunately, the coupon reduction just doesn't discount on total price : to be clear it DOES reduce the price later, but when you apply the coupon, the total written on the page does not change. I am sure I did it correctly because it is only on the update of total price that it doesn't work. So the client can't tell it work even though it write "coupon applied".

    2. Ok I managed it

    3. I did find a way by creating an event that overwrites the classic lessons. But I did try your proposition and it does not work. Maybe I did it wrong

    4. I did manage the role setting. but it does not change anything. Now the account has informations I cannot change. I checked on amelia customers and teachers profile, checked on wordpress user profile too. can't find where to edit that.

    New question :).
    5. I would like to be able to make a reservation in the past. It would enable my client to write back someone who did not subscribe by the web site. I think I might find a way to unlock the past date it the plugin php sheats, but could have some help for that if possible.

    6. I would also like to be able to edit coupons number of uses (again it is so that my client can folow how many where used, even when someone did not make a reservation on the website).

    7. If my client (the teacher) wants to change things on her scheddule, like changing hours of some lessons, it will change current lessons hours of the week, and will cancel all the lessons that have already been schedduled. Which is a very big problem because it makes her stucked with her current scheddule. How could she change her schedule starting at a certain futur date?

I know its a lot but it's kind of basic function my client needs.
    Thank you a lot,

    Hi again Thomas.

Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.

    1. We checked with the last four versions of Amelia, and when the coupon is applied (clicked on the check-mark sign), it does reduce the price in front end:

    5780184207.png

The coupon was set to a 50% discount:

    4096862284.png

You do have to click on the check-mark, next to the coupon code, though, for this to apply.

    3. If you have one employee which will not be available on a certain day, when you configure that employee's day off - it will not be displayed in the booking form. Like this:

    A) Day off created, and added:

    3085565018.png

    B) The "Days off" tab after adding the day off:

    6442681624.png

    C) Hit Save, and check the booking form for that employee:

    9892864244.png

    October 31st disabled.

    4. Sorry, I forgot to mention that this setting does not apply to WordPress Administrators. You would need to open the booking page in Incognito mode, to be able to schedule an appointment with new customer info.

    5. I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features. It would require code changing, which falls under customization. Unfortunately, custom work is not included in the provided support of the plugin, and I cannot help you with that.

Our developers are very busy at the moment, working on some priority tasks and fixing bugs and issues with our plugins, so they won't be having the time for custom work in near future.

But we can recommend these services for customization:

    https://codeable.io/?ref=l1TW1

    https://wpkraken.io/?tms-plugins

They do develop such solutions, so can you please send your inquiry to them?

    6. When you're creating or editing a coupon, you can define the usage limit:

    9694134672.png

And the maximum usage per customer:

    8842279795.png

When you take a look at all your coupons, you can see the usage limit, and how many times that coupon has already been used:

    8695749132.png

    7. This shouldn't happen. If you have a lesson scheduled for 1PM tomorrow, and another 5 lessons in the next 5 days at the same time; then you go to your employee's tab, and change their working hours to work from 3PM to 9PM, it will apply only for the future appointments. The ones already created will remain intact.
