When you use the Amelia booking tool for the first time you are able to fill in your personal information. After you did this for the first time it gets 'locked' and you can't change your personal information.
Our clients are experiencing difficulties because of this. For example when they want to change their e-mail address or when multiple people use the same computer device.
My question is how can I make it possible for my clients to change their personal information without them having to delete their cache or cookies?
When you are logged in, that your data is saved in the database, which is the reason why your data in the booking form is disabled and already filled. If you make another user with different email and then login with that email address, you will able to make an appointment with different credentials. Also, you can open your browser in Incognito mode (which means that you are not logged in - as your future clients) and you will see that you are able to make an appointment.
From version 1.3.4 there is an option to check customer’s name for existing email during the booking process – now it is possible to allow customers to schedule the appointment with the same email but different first and last name.
Unfortunately, the e-mail field cannot be changed if your users want to have an account with which they can log in and modify an existing appointment.
