We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello,
Ideally, I would like to be able to allow customers/clients to log into a customer portal and pay for a service over time.
For example, a course starts September 1st and ends December 1st. It costs $1,000.
They do not have to pay in full until the end date of the course to claim a certificate.
Is there a way to handle this? When attempting to set up an event and assign a price to it, it asked me to enter my credit card details.
A way to handle deposits or a payment gateway is critical to one of my clients and would really like to be able to implement this.
Thank you.
Hello Matthew,
Unfortunately deposit payments are not possible in Amelia with its current built-in features.
We have this in our to-do list for the future releases, but we can't say when it will be implemented. We try to meet our customers' needs and implement new features as many as we can, and the most requested features are in the top of our list. You can vote for this feature following this link.
For now, if this can help you, you can only set the price for the event to be the deposit amount that you want to be paid on reservation and the customers can pay the rest of the price on-site.
If you have any other questions or concerns don't hesitate to ask,
