If I understood you correctly, by "default" you mean predefined filter values?
If that is true, you can open each column's settings, and add a predefined filter value under "Filtering" tab.
On the other hand, if you wish to save the filters they used last, unfortunately something like this is not possible with the plugin's built in features.
Yes, its the second I'm after. They use the filters to find options, click a button / URL link from the results and then return to the filter to continue looking at other options. The hope was for them to return to their results and not have to input the values back into the filters.
Are there any plugins from third parties or a section of code I can add that might be able to achieve this?
I don't know about any plugins or addons that do that, sorry.
Have you maybe thought of opening that URL in a new tab? That way everything they click on will be opened in another browser tab, and the tab where the table is will remain intact with the filters applied.
You have this option in the Data tab when you go to the URL link column settings:
If your URL column is "string" type, it can also be done by adding "target="_blank"" HTML property.
Hi,
Is there a way to retain the filter selection so when a user returns to the page their filter results revert back to default?
Thanks
Chris
