1. I'm making a table of a list of businesses. For each business, I may have two to three rows of info. I want to be able to sort by a few different columns but wondering what will happen to the second or third row and if they will sort independently and "disappear". Do i need to make the columns that will have the "sort by" option 2 to 3 rows tall? Or, can I make it that the data of the first row is what sorts but the second and third row will "follow" / stay with the first row since part of the business profile.
2. Is there a feature where, when you hover over a cell, it shows additional info?
I believe you're looking for "Cascade Filtering" option. That feature is offered only through our paid add-on Powerful Filters. And it works just like its name says - cascading. When you select the filter for the first column, it will filter the values for the next column, and offer only possible values for it, and so on.
2. I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features.
We're developing a feature where you'll be able to see row details in a modal, but that won't be released for a few more months.
1. can I make column width the width of my choice? I see that they change size based on the length of the word, which is nice, but can I choose width?
2. Can I remove the "print" "excel" "csv" "copy" from the top? Apologies if this is easy and obvious.
3. When it comes to cascading, what if I have two words in a cell? For example: Sushi, Thai. If I select Thai for filtering, will it show up? Or only the first word?
1. If you enable "Limit table width", you will be able to change the column width.
2. Yeah, in settings above the table navigate to "Table Tools" and choose which table tools you will have displayed, if any.
3. With cascade filtering, the first column should display all rows that contain "Thai", but second, third and so on will change the dropdown.
For example, if you have a filter selected for the first column and it filters these rows in the second column:
Fish, Rice, Bread
Veal, Tomatoes, Iceberg
that is what you'll see in the filtering drop-down options. You won't see "Fish", "Rice", "Bread", "Veal", "Tomatoes" and "Iceberg" as individual values.

*nevermind. figured i out. I have 16 rows of empty information. How do I delete these rows. I'm now sure how this happened. Thanks
Hello again Byron.
You should be able to delete them by clicking on a row, then "Delete" above the table.
If that doesn't work, you should be able to delete them from the database directly.
Best regards.
